WCET International Delegates

Terms of Reference for Committees and International Delegates

The WCET International Delegates play a vital role in the WCET. Every member country of the WCET is represented by an International Delegate (ID) elected by the members of that country.

The role of the WCET International Delegate includes:

• Acting as the national WCET spokesperson
• Disseminating information within the country
• Presently voting on behalf of the national members at the WCET General Business Meeting until online voting is established

International Delegates submit a biennial report of activities within their home country and source relevant and pertinent items for the WCET Bulletin or Journal.

The WCET International Delegates provide a valuable service to the WCET, acting as WCET ambassadors within their national country and providing information pathways for WCET members around the world.

WCET Country Reports

Members can view the WCET International Delegates Country Reports in the Library of the member database

Each International Delegate is responsible for submitting a Country Report at the biennial WCET Congress. This report outlines the activities of the WCET members as well as other Enterostomal Therapy Nursing activities in your national country. In turn, the Country Report serves to promote communication and the sharing of ideas and ultimately helps to promote and strengthen Enterostomal Therapy Nursing globally.

WCET International Delegates also have the opportunity to add messages and updates for their national members on the WCET member database, keeping their local members abreast of what is happening in their country and around the world.
